Celebration of Syrian Christian wedding
Pre—Wedding Celebration
Prior to wedding, you will get valuable hospitality as per cultural essence regarding pre wedding environment. A traditional customary function, named-‘oil massage ceremony’ is performed using turmeric mixed with coconut oil followed by a mehendi ceremony (special henna coloring applied in intricate, beautiful patterns on the hands), prior to wedding. It helps the skin glow as well. Women will sing traditional music and you will experience the melodious sound in the background.
Wedding Ceremony
In the beginning a welcome procession is perform in respect of groom in a traditional Indian manner, escorted by a 3—man band playing the shehnai. Additionally, the family members of bride welcome the groom at the entrance of the venue, in a traditional Kerala style. The decoration of venue will be unique and it will be elegantly decorated with a temple background or a courtyard of the temple.
The Wedding Ceremony
“Thalam”, a special ceremony as per the custom is performed to offer a natural essence. It is performed as the five married women tie a gold chain of approx. 8 gm around the neck and they sing traditional songs. Later ring ceremony is organized under local rituals. In addition, arrangement of “pooja” (Religious ceremony) is made, while a live 3—band team plays traditional Indian music in background. Classical photography and wedding video can be arranged.
Post—Wedding Ceremony
IMen dressed in traditional Kerala attire will serve delicious Kerala dinner on banana leaves followed by performance of wonderful classical dance (Mohiniattam) for an hour.
The Wedding Night
Your initial welcome on wedding night will be on a boat for an hour with a bottle of sparkling wine where you will enjoy sunset cruise. You will be in a harbor facing room with special floral decorations on the bed. Complimentary fruits will be kept in basket behind the bed. Groom is offered for a glass of flavored milk (Badam) by the bride that is a traditional welcome drink. Bedtime drinks (Badam) for two times, and dry fruits will also be placed in the room.
The Next Morning
Enjoy the Backwaters of Kerala with special champagne brunch for a day.
Couple Accommodations
Accommodation arrangement is made for the couple for two nights in a Harbor facing room with a special traditional welcome drink on arrival. Dinner arrangement for on our Cinnamon Coast yacht while it cruises around the backwaters of Cochin

Accommodation arrangement for the guests is made for two nights with a welcome drink, half day of sightseeing, shopping at Jewtown, a cruise down the Cochin backwaters.
