Dharmadam Island

Dharmadam Island is located amidst picturesque settings in Arabian Sea providing a pleasant, breathtaking slice of nature. Engulfing coconut palm trees, dense bushes and golden beaches within its enchanting territory, Dharmadam is a small island spreading over 5 acres of beautiful landscape, presenting a beautiful sight when viewed from the Muzhappilangad beach.

Also known as Green Island, this tiny piece of land may be reached on foot from the shores during low tides. The Dharmadam island is 17 Km from Kannur and around 100 meters from the mainland. Earlier known as Dharmadam village, the mainland is known for its strong Buddhist influence. A privately owned property, one needs to take permission from its owners before entering into its enchanting territory.
