Ilaveezhapoonchira is located at a distance of 20 km from thodaypuzha and 55 km from Kottayam, which is just a short trek away from ‘Kanjar’ town. The most suitable and easiest route to reach to it is through Palai of Kottayam district. November to march is regarded as the best time to visit although those fond of monsoon rains may visit between the months of June to August.
