Day-01: Cochin
Arrival at Cochin airport and meet with our representatives who shall assist & transfer you to a luxurious hotel. Take time to relax and unwind, before heading out for Cochin sightseeing which start from a speed boat cruise from Cochin harbor to Fort Cochin, the gateway of Arabian Sea.
Apart from being the commercial hub of the state, Cochin is full of tourist attractions to make your first outing memorable. We shall be covering Bolghatty Palace, Bolghatty Island, Chennamangalam which is the oldest synagogue in Kerala, Fort Kochi and Beach, Santa Cruz Basilica, Jewish Synagogue and Willingdon Island. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day-02: Cochin-Kumarakom (60 km-1 hrs)
Morning drive to Kumarakom Back water- also called the ‘Jewels of kerala’ due to its enchanting beauty and natural settings. Upon arrival check-in at a backwater resort. Kumarakom is a small water world situated upon the Vembanad Lake. Plenty of traditional country craft boats and canoes cruise upon its waters, and we shall be exploring Kumarakom backwaters, the Bird sanctuary and House jetty etc. You shall also enjoy resort facilities like Health club, Swimming pool, outdoor & indoor games or enjoy a healing Ayurvedic massage. Dinner & overnight stay at the resort.
Day-03: Kumarakom - Alleppey (House boat Cruise - 22hrs)
After breakfast transfer to luxury Houseboat to enjoy one of prime backwater attractions- the 22 hrs. Boat cruise from Kumakakom to Alleppey. Enjoy the cruise meandering through scenic natural settings upon houseboats built completely from eco friendly coconut fiber ropes, bamboo poles, coir carpets and bamboo mats. Well equipped with luxurious furnishings and all modern facilities, these houseboats display exquisite flooring, hull canopy, Spacious dining area, living room, sun deck with attached toilets. A guide, a cook and oarsmen will be at your service, with meals served at the open top dining hall overnight on houseboat.
Day-04: Alleppey
After breakfast check out from the house boat and drive to Alleppey hotel. The district of Alleppey is known for its immense natural beauty and is also called as the ‘Venice of the south’. Home to a large variety of animal and bird life, Alleppey is called as the rice bowel of Kerala due to its wealth of paddy crops. Located at the very heart of the backwaters, Alleppey attractions include Sea View Park and Alappuzha beach.
Day-05: Alleppey-Cochin
After breakfast check-out from the houseboat. Your memorable backwater tour ends as our representatives transfer you to Cochin Airport for flight back home.
