Day-01:Cochin
On your arrival at Cochin airport or Ernakulam Railway station, you will be warmly welcomed by our Kerala Backwater tours representative. Your transfer arrangement will be made at very pleasant hotel. Take some rest after long journey and in afternoon a half day sightseeing arrangement will be made to explore Cochin. You will see the Jewish Synagogue, Dutch Palace, Jews Street, St.Francis church, Chinese fishing net & the indo-Portuguese Museum. Come back to hotel at evening where your overnights stay arrangement is made at Hotel in Cochin.
Day 02:Cochin- Alappuzha (Alleppey)
Check out from hotel after morning breakfast and you will be drive for Alappuzha (Alleppey) where you will be check in at hotel. Now you are at ‘Venice of the East’. You can enjoy and get fun at the narrow canals and excellent backwaters. It is one of the beautiful backwater houseboats places in the world and is famous for the annual Nehru Trophy Snake Boat race held here every year, around the festival of Onam (second Saturday of August on every year). Enjoy seeing a unique crisscrossing network of canals & lagoons on which thatch covered country boats punt (houseboats) along leisurely. Overnight stay arrangement will be at the hotel in Alleppey.
Day 03:Alleppey - Kollam
Check out from hotel after morning breakfast and you will be drive for Kollam where you will be check in at hotel. Kollam is also known as the "Gateway to Kerala's Backwaters." It is an ancient seaport on the banks of the Ashtamudi Lake. The cruise from Kollam to Alappuzha, which lasts eight hours, is a magical ride along the scenic backwaters of Kerala. Overnight stay arrangement will be at the hotel in Kollam.
Day 04:Kollam- Kumarakom
Check out from Hotel after morning breakfast and you will be drive to Kumarakom) on your fourth day of Kerala Backwater tour. Check-in to the hotel on arrival at Kumarakom and after some rest visit the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. At evening, go for Sunset cruise (optional) or enjoy the beauty of backwater by just relaxing near Vembanadu Lake or enjoy your free time. Overnight stay arrangement will be at the hotel in Kumarakom.
Day 05 :Kumarakom -Houseboat
Check out from Hotel after morning breakfast and you will be drive to Houseboat at early morning. Check in at houseboat. Your fifth day of Kerala Backwater leisure is on the House Boat. Sit back and relax while the boat travels through the narrow serene backwater canals. Enjoy Lunch, Evening Tea/Coffee with snacks, and dinner on Houseboat and take pleasure in your evening on the sundeck away from polluted cities and maddening crowd. Enjoy a mind blowing overnight stay on House Boat.
Day 06 :Houseboat- Thiruvananthapuram
After the morning breakfast, check-out from hotel. Drive to Thiruvananthapuram and on arrival, check in to hotel. On the sixth day of Kerala Backwater tours, we take you for a day sightseeing of Trivandrum. Take pleasure for entire day by seeing the Napier Museum, Kuthiramalika Museum, Sri Padmanabha Temple. At afternoon, relax at on the beach. Return back to Hotel, where your night stay arrangement is made.
Day 07 :Departure
On the last day of your Kerala Backwater tours, your initial few hours at leisure, later our representative will pick up you from hotel and transfer you to Trivandrum Airport/ Railway station to board your return flight/train back to your own destination and enjoy the sweet memories of your exciting Kerala Backwater tours.
