Day-01:Trivandrum
On your arrival at Trivandrum Airport/ Railway Station you will be greeted by our Kerala Backwater Tour representative after receiving. Check-in to the hotel at Trivandrum. We will take you for a short sightseeing of Trivandrum. Take pleasure of seeing the Napier Museum, Kuthiramalika Museum, Sri Padmanabha Temple. At evening, relax at on the beach. Stay overnight at the hotel in Trivandrum.
Day 02:Kovalam
During the second day of Kerala Backwater Tour you will be drive to Kovalam after the morning breakfast. Check-in to hotel at Kovalam. Enjoy rest of the day at leisure on the beach at Kovalam. Explore the scene of Arabian waves embracing virgin sands in Kerala -Gods own country. You can unwind yourself with an invigorating ayurvedic massage. It will definitely make your vacation a memorable one. Overnight stay arrangement will be at the hotel in Kovalam.
Day 03:Kovalam- Kollam
Check-out from hotel and drive to Kollam early in the morning. On reaching at Quilon (popular as Kollam), you will be check in at hotel. Kollam is also known as the "Gateway to Kerala's Backwaters." You can enjoy a trip to Alumkadavu, the Houseboat jetty closest to Quilon. Overnight stay arrangement will be at the hotel in Quilon.
Day 04:Kollam- Alleppey- Kumarakom
Check-out from hotel after morning breakfast and start journey for Alleppey. Alleppey is identified as ‘Venice of the East’ because of the narrow canals and backwaters. It is one of the beautiful backwater houseboats places in the world. On reaching Alleppey, board a houseboat and start for Kumarakom on the houseboat. Stay overnight in the houseboat at Kumarakom.
Day 05 :Kumarakom- Periyar
Check out from Hotel after morning breakfast and our Kerala Backwater tour representative will drive you to Thekkady. You can enjoy your this drive by seeing panoramic western ghat hills covered with spice plantations and occasional view of water falls and streams. Your check-in arrangement will be made in hotel on your arrival at Thekkady. Take some rest. At evening, you can see and experience the exceptional view of calm crystal clear Periyar Lake. Your overnight stay arrangement will be made at hotel in Thekkady.
Day 06 : Periyar
You are at Periyar for one more days because there are many more things to explore at Periyar. Take morning breakfast and get fun of natural beauty at Periyar. Morning boating will give you a soothing experience of fun. You will see Periyar wild life sanctuary (which is one of the largest wildlife reserves in India famous for black elephant); wildlife includes gaur, wild dogs, otters, freshwater tortoise and bird species like heroin, kingfisher, hornbill, water and fishbowls. Afternoon visit will be of spice plantations. Come back for an overnight stay at the Hotel in Thekkady.
Day 07 :Periyar- Cochin
On the seventh day of your Kerala Backwater tours, our representative will transfer you to Cochin. Whole day Cochin sightseeing tour arrangement will be made. You can enjoy seeing beautiful streams small water falls, Rubber, Pepper cardamom and Tea plantations and thick forests. Stay overnight in hotel at Cochin.
Day 08 : Departure
On last day of your Kerala Backwater tours, visit various historic monuments of Cochin including Mattancherry Palace with well-preserved fresco paintings and the oldest Jewish Synagogue during initial hours. Later our representative will transfer you to the airport or railway station for an onward journey and enjoy the sweet memories of your passionate Kerala Backwater tours.
